
My story
Vinícius Braga was born in the municipality of Itaboraí-RJ on October 12, 1985. He is the author of “Por Você, um Jardim de Palavras”, “Centelhas Poéticas”, “Personalismo de Emmanuel Mounier” as an end-of-course work in Philosophy, and helped organize the book “Et Verbum - Reflections in the Light of Faith” which are chronicles about Christianity and its most worked out virtues, and is writing a book about the “Secret of Fatima”. He attended high school at Colégio Estadual Desembargador José Augusto Coelho da Rocha Jr., in Rio Bonito-RJ, where he lived until 2017. Vinícius studied Spanish and English in the city of Rio de Janeiro. He knows a little Italian to the point of communication and he translates some French for his instrumental readings. His true passion is swimming. In 2005 and 2006, he participated in the Travessia dos Fortes, whose route is approximately 4 kilometers. He also participated in competitions for Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas in the pre-master category, where he was affiliated and federated in the FARJ. In parallel with poetry, Vinícius is also dedicated to painting, identifying himself with Van Gogh's Impressionism and Arcimboldo's Surrealism. In his spare time, he dedicates himself to cooking. It's a pizza maker. He professes the Catholic faith and was a seminarian at the São José de Niterói-RJ Archdiocesan Seminary, where he studied philosophy.
He has lived in Portugal since 2018 and currently works with pilgrims at the Sanctuary of Fátima where he can have a very strong experience with the identity of this country that has always been very marked by its Catholic identity.
